Skate Ontario, under the provincial public health regulations, is now allowing a certain level of skaters to return to the ice - 5 skaters or 4 skaters plus a coach. Kirsten & Michael are only allowed to skate "singles" for now and are doing so about 1 hour a day.

Yesterday afternoon a live-streamed chat on Facebook was scheduled between PJ, Debbi Wilkes and Ryan Stevens (SkateGuard) - unfortunately there were technology challenges and Debbi ended up only being able to join in via typed comments, not the stream. The video has not yet been uploaded to YouTube but will likely be added today.

Yesterday I was in the midst of watching Pj chatting with coach Doug Haw, having had a tour of some of the art in his home, when my laptop took a "seizure" and shut itself down. It was supposed to restart itself but it wasn't able to (after two tries) and I wasn't able to do so either. Off to "the shop" it went and I'm now limited to the mini-computer, with mini-keyboard, and mini-mouse. I cannot work on my genealogy, etc. I may not have a new fully functioning laptop until the end of the month
