ISU Development Projects - videos

This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

ISU Development Projects - videos

Post by Elizabeth »

The first of a planned series of educational seminars aimed at coaches was presented at Worlds 2018. It was live streamed and is available on the same video channel where the Ice Dance Technical Committee meeting was posted.

The full video is some 2 hours in length. I'm told it includes information about injuries and boots but haven't watched it all yet.

I'm watching this now and it's very interesting. I'm noticing that they are looking at the construction of the skate and not yet thinking of restricting the jumping, (of course I haven't seen the whole video yet).
