How times have changed! Winter Olympics 1924...

This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

Worn on this day in 1924 by figure skaters in the first Winter Olympics at Chamonix, France.

Herma Planck-Szabo of Austria, on the left, won the gold wearing a pleated midi skirt and belted cardigan. Sonja Henie of Norway, age 11, placed last.

The person in the middle looks like Jason Brown of the USA!!

hahaha....she does. Wow, that is really something.

I got this picture in a decoration. Does anyone know who it is? Could it be Sonia Henie?
