I was watching CBC and they did a nice feature on Summer, the famous Canadian swimmer and her older sister Brooke, a Pairs figure skater who has had tremendous success with her partner Benjamin Mimar. It's quite the balance to train for their individual sports and actually have family time as well. It's kind of cute that they both are talented athletes on water...one frozen and one not, haha.

I saw that feature last evening too - it was used once before - it was done by Devin Heroux of CBC - he is presently in Japan covering the World Aquatics Championships. He travelled to Florida as well as to Brooke's training site to do the feature.
Brooke has won 2 medals so far at the Worlds - the latest a gold in the 200 m Butterfly where she defended her title. Here she is being interviewed by Devin after the medal ceremony.
Her parents are both in Japan to cheer her on
