There is already considerable impact to the ISU for both speed skating and figure skating due to the COVID-19 situation and more is possible. An online meeting was held on June 15th and a number of decisions were taken. A couple of highlights:
Riga, Latvia, will now host the sixth JGP following the cancellation of events in Canada and Slovakia.
The new Scale of Values, GOE and PC marking guidelines that were announced in May have been suspended and will not be used this coming season.
TES minimums for the 2019/20 season will remain in place for 2020/21 season (see below).
