This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.
The number of pairs competing at this year's 4CC keeps going down!
First it was the third Chinese team which withdrew before the SP, apparently due to an injury suffered/exacerbated in practice after they arrived and the skate order draw was done.
Now the Knierims of the USA have withdrawn from the FS - I'm told the USFS initially Tweeted that it was due to "family illness" but that was deleted and the replacement just said that they had withdrawn.

Good results so far. I am always a bit sad when a competitor says "I was doing my job".
It seems that that particular competitor does not "connect" with the audience at all - that's something I noticed at Canadians. I would like to see a bit more "joy" or enjoyment when they are skating.
Yuzu has now won his first 4CC and thus has completed what is being called a "super slam", having won the ISU championships at all the junior and senior events
Canadian competitors were on two podiums at the 2020 4CCs and will be bring home medals - instead of the usual flowers, the hosts presented the competitors with mascot "plushies".
