However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

Brian Orser's student, Evgenia Medvedeva is competing at this event - some comments from him about her:
She has amazing programs, she skates like never before, glides fast ... the goal is to show two great programs ... she will be very happy, regardless of the result. And I'm absolutely sure that she can do it.
Note that there is a difference between the start times for the ladies SP on Friday on the CBC Sports schedule and Danielle's time conversion. Danielle's looks to be right, based on the two hours between the final two Friday events on the full schedule at the link in the first post of this thread..
