I'll be watching a couple of skaters closely - Fiona Bombardier (Josée Chouinard's daughter) and Grayson Long. I first met the latter (and his mother) at a Minto Summer Skate a number of years ago and was happy to assist in finding a safety pin to assist with a "costume malfunction" just before he skated

Fiona Bombardier placed 2nd in the free skate (after a 6th place in the short program) and ended up in 3rd place overall. An excellent start!!

Sadly, Angelina Grant of Canada had a bad fall during her free skate and had to withdraw
