Figure Skating

• ISU European Figure Skating Championships to be held in Budapest, Hungary on January 22-28, 2024
• ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships to be held on February 6-11, 2024, TBC
• ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships to be held on February 26-March 3, 2024, TBC
• ISU World Figure Skating Championships to be held in Montreal, Canada on March 18-24, 2024

As a reminder, the 2022 Worlds will be in Montpellier, France, while Saitama, Japan will host the championships in 2023.

GREAT! I plan to be there! Let's hope this time it comes to a reality! By then we would hope that COVID restrictions will be behind us. I have my Bible School reunion that year too. It will be an interesting year!

I'm pessimistic about the future of world health. There may be a series of Covid viruses and mutations, each more contagious and deadly than the last. If we do have a recovery by 2024, I hope to be back in Montreal for it as well. That would be nice.

There is talk among specialists that we will need to have a booster shot every year like we do for the flu shot. They will probably handle it like they do for it, modifying the flu shot every year to accommodate any changes or variants. Now I think the world is more prepare for such a crisis, at least I hope so. I think we have to look on the positive. Being on high-alert all the time has not been that good for people's mental health. Anyway, I hope to be in Montreal in 2024. It will probably be here before we know it.
