That's great but I probably won't watch because it is on in the middle of the night here. Hopefully I will be able to see it later.

Ted hopes that the YouTube videos will be left "up" in the same way that those from the JGP are.

Medvedeva skates last and will be wearing brand new skates as hers broke after she arrived
UPDATE - the replacement skates were "low level" and wouldn't work so Evgenia skated on a tied together, broken skate

Sadly, Evgenia had to withdraw from the free skate - further breakdown of her equipment meant that she could do neither the flip nor the lutz (according to Ted Barton)

She said that the increased risk of injury when skating with the damaged boots that was obvious during the practice today was a reason to withdraw.
She will skate in the Gala but without jumps.

Oh dear...that's really too bad!
I wish I could watch this live, but I can't depart from my sleeping regime or I pay for it. Thanks for the mention of the youtube vids with the copy of the broadcast. I watched the beginning of the Men's FS, but will have to watch the rest later due to all the family celebrations this holiday.

Having been sick since the beginning of last week and still recovering, I didn't lose any sleep for this event but I was able to watch the competitions live that conveniently began about the time I got up each morning. Then I could watch replays as time permitted.
