2010 World champion Daisuke Takahashi has announced via his official website that he will be competing in ice dance with Kana Muramoto who previously partnered Chris Reed. He will give a press conference in Japan on 30 September.



According to press reports, they plan to work towards Beijing 2022, with this year's Nationals being the last time Daisuke competes in Singles. Marina Zoueva will be their coach.

That should be interesting and probably not as demanding on his body as single skating.
