It is very nice to see the continuing success of a 2nd generation Canadian skater - novice skater Fiona Bombardier is the daughter of Josée Chouinard and her former husband Jean-Michel Bombardier. Along with her mother and twin brother, I watched Fiona compete at Minto Summer Skate just over a week ago, winning a medal in her group - her first year in novice competition. This past weekend Fiona won a silver medal in her flight of Novice Women at the Wild Rose competition.

She trains at the Richmond Training Centre (RTC) and is coached by Ken Rose, a former competitive skater himself.

I was a fan of Jose. I remember "The Sweater" number. That was fun!
It looks like her daughter has talent too. Best wishes for her.
