CBC Features on Abuse in Amateur Sport

CBC has been doing quite a few reports on abuse in amateur sport, and yesterday they interviewed a former skater. He lifted the ban that protected his identity in 2015 (I believe), so this is not exactly new news. It's alarming to think such things are going on under the radar, but I understand why they do have privacy bans for underage athletes. I imagine they will have more on this very issue. It's probably a bigger issue than we'd like to think about.

Very upsetting!! While the numbers in figure skating seem relatively low, the number in hockey is staggering! Of course, like always, I'm sure there are many more that have gone unreported.
