I thought the 15 skaters must be a typo and that it was likely 5. It's 15! Impressed that Skate Canada is giving all these young skater this opportunately to gain experience and for some to possibly attain minimum points.

I agree, Judy. They are apparently starting to mobilize their "next generation" development plans.

The event has one more day - the schedule/entries/results page: http://www.deu-event.de/results/BO2019/index.htm

In order to compete in 2019 Worlds in Saitama, JPN, ladies, like Canada's Aurora Cotop, need to achieve minimum technical scores (TES) in an ISU-sanctioned event during this season in the short program and free skate of 29 and 49 respectively. For men, like Conrad Orzel, it is 34 and 64.

Aurora received 29.17 in her SP earlier today. Conrad received 35.99 in his SP yesterday. The free skates for both will take place tomorrow.

This event turned out to be a very successful one for the Canadians Skaters!

Thirteen of our 15 skaters will be bringing home medals, the other two placed 4th & 6th in their event, and the two senior skaters achieved their TES minimums for competing in ISU senior championship events - congratulations to all of those who participated!!
