Seguin & Bilodeau are no longer competing as partners

Interview (in French) with Charlie Bilodeau. He says he decided to end the partnership with Julianne and is still looking to compete. He says that despite the changes for the new season, they were not giving each other what they needed to progress (looking ahead to the next Olympics).

I'm sorry to hear this and liked this partnership. I feel she is being extremely gracious considering the situation and how he said she is "not a strong enough partner". Also, costumes and choreographers aren't cheap. I hope she gets another partner too as I'm sure with someone better for her she could do well. Well, sometimes partnerships just don't work, but I feel it's best to be fair to one another when splitting, as much as possible. Even if comments are true, it's often not helpful when splitting to air all. I remember how some famous pairs such as Brassier and Eisler or even Jamie & David at one point had trouble with the female teammate falling on side by side jumps. However, they worked through those issues to succeed. I'm heart-broken for Julianne. As you pointed out different articles seem to present a different spin on things (no pun intended, lol). However, it sounds like it was mostly his decision based on this article:

Charlie said in the French interview that he was the one who made the decision. Juliane has had multiple concussions and I have to wonder if that was part of the issue.

You're probably right. It's also possible that he was misquoted as he seems like a nice person. Poor her with the concussions!! yikes!!

They are no fun even one at a time. Multiple concussions is a sign to stop doing what you're doing!!! and they are. good decision.

Yes, I agree!!
