Soooo sad!

I've logged-in ap but am now really struggling for words and have started to cry.... Please let this story not be true.

He was a beautiful skater, we loved him and always had fingers crossed he would skate his best. His results didn't always reflect that he was one of the best in the world in his youth.

so very sad, we live in such uncertain times.

He was so good when he was so young; he did so much to promote skating in his home country; sadly, with injuries in recent years his results had gone down hill.

I have no words to express how I feel just now. This is just horrible and I have tears in my eyes. He was SUCH a beautiful person and skater. God bless his family.

Some people might wish to look back at a memorable performance from the Worlds in London, ON when Denis came back to win the silver medal, finishing very close to Patrick Chan who had a large lead after the SP.

This was the season when he performed to music from "The Artist" in both SP & FS, choreographed by Sandra Bezic.

That's really amazing. He did more in his shortened years than most people do in a lifetime. & When Kurt tells you that your Quad toe is sublime, that is something!!! Oh and Lauri Nichols deserves a whole hockeysock for of credit to that choreography too. I noticed!

I hope the people who killed him get a lot of jail time. It seems incredible that a few years in jail is equal to taking someone's life and ruining his family's as well. SO tragic!!
