An ISU first - a live online meeting of a technical committee

This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

An ISU first - a live online meeting of a technical committee

Today, after the short dance the ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee held its annual meeting in Milan. It was live streamed, that was a first, and is available for viewing on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7tYDftWFGg

Present at the meeting, in addition to member of the committee, were coaches, media, and other interested parties. Anyone else, anywhere in the world, could watch online.

Presented at the meeting were proposals for some changes in ice dance (at all levels from Novice through Senior) that will be going forward for approval at the upcoming ISU Congress.
