A little family history in Halifax

In 1999, 
Uzbekistan's Tatyana Malinina won the gold medal of the first Four Continents Championships (4CC) at Halifax Metro Centre (now called Scotiabank Centre).
25 years later, her son, Ilia Malinin, captured his first Skate Canada gold at the very same arena.
Ilia's father, Roman Skorniakov, placed 9th for Uzbekistan at the 1999 4CC.
