Fred's, (Used to be Barb's), Board

Steve has written on many sports but I think of him for his figure skating coverage over the years, not just in the newspaper but in books, including Tessa & Scott.

He has not chosen to retire from the Spectator after 33 years but has been "terminated" - a fate shared by many journalists these days, unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing! Oh, how unfortunate for him to be terminated from his position!! How unfair and wouldn't it have been nicer if he could have been allowed to retire of his own accord after 40 years. It is definitely their loss! I particularly remember his chapter/feature about Susan Humphreys in his book "Skate Talk". He is a talented writer.
