Corey Circelli - now going to represent Italy & some other Italian news

After competing as both a single skater and an ice dancer in and for Canada, Corey Circelli, who trains at the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club, has announced on his Instagram feed that he will representing Italy in future. He recently competed at an event in Italy.

Daniel Grassl ITA has not appeared in any competitions this season as he was under investigation for missing three anti-doping tests. This happened while he was in Russia training with the Tutberidze team.
According to various reports today, the Italian Anti-Doping Prosecutor has requested a two-year suspension for Daniel Grassl after skipping three anti-doping tests.

The results of the Sr. Men at Italian nationals:
Matteo Rizzo withdrew - he didn't need to compete as he had already been selected for Europeans. He has a hip injury. He will still compete at Europeans and then will have surgery.

Whoa...how could he be so foolish (whatever the reason)?! That is very disappointing. I'm sure glad they have these requirements in place.
