I've been watching things live and haven't looked for the full event videos on the CBC "improved" site.

Some folks have put up links to individual programs on YouTube and I believe the ISU videos are available from https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/sin ... ce-dance/#

I've sent a Tweet to the CBC Sports folks to enquire.

UPDATE - FOUND IT: http://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1145586755773

Thanks so much Elizabeth! I was there before, but they must not have put it up before. See the e-mail I sent you.

The competition finished just before 4 a.m. my time this morning - I watched the full men's free skate and I'm glad I did.

About an hour later the Gala began but I was sleeping :D

Apparently the power went off in the arena close to the end of the second half of the Gala - while the first place pairs team was performing - being "current", the fans pulled out their cell phones and used their flash light "apps"! Image

If you watch the video of the Gala, the stream stops very suddenly - the loss of power is the reason why.

In an Olympic year when the 4CC is in the far East and so close to the Olympics, also in the far East, often the top skaters "give it a miss". This year was no exception. It provided, however, an opportunity for several skaters to have a "redemption skate" (or skates) after they failed to make the Olympic team at Nationals. Not all of these made it to the TV broadcasts of CBC or NBC but most, if not all, of them have been put up on YouTube.

If you're interested and can't find them, let me know - I may be able to find a link for you.

I'm still trying to watch the stream of the Men's SP, but the one on CBC is 5-6 seconds behind the sound. I've tried it on different computers and it does the same thing. So, I've got some saved from the Olympic channel and will be watching those for the rest. I was enjoying the programs but then it all fell apart around Kevin Reynolds or before him. I think something happened when they uploaded it because the video was so long. I hope the FS file does not have the same technical problems.

Kittykins - If you go to the ISU Skating Channel the videos are there too but are broken up a bit: https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/sin ... ice-dance/

There are 5 parts for the men's SP and 4 parts for the men's FS.

Since CBC only showed a highlight package on TV, the ISU apparently didn't geoblock Canada for the live stream.

Thanks so much Elizabeth. I'll try to watch those tomorrow. Watching that live stream was quite the marathon. I don't know how you managed it for all the disciplines.
