Apparently the deadline for naming skaters for Worlds is today. The Russian Federation named the following ladies:
Konstantinova, Samodruova, Zagitova (alt: Tuktamysheva, Medvedeva)
According to Jackie Wong:
Alexander Gorshkov (head of Russian FS Fed) noted that there wasn't enough time after Russian Cup Final to meet before today's deadline, so they submitted the Euros team. Leaves the door open for the entries to be changed before Worlds - stay tuned!!

This is ridiculous if you ask me! They *knew* well in advance of this competition of the submission deadline, and should have been scheduled to meet the very second the competition was over if that was the case. This is just cruel to the athletes who have been put through the wringer and still don't know if they're going. Inhuman.....and frankly a foolish choice if they are sending Konstantinova!
