The French Federation has made a change in their "host pick" in Women:
Clemence Mayindu replaces Maia Mazzara at Grand Prix de France

Having already withdrawn from Skate Canada International, Lucrezia Beccari / Matteo Guarise have now also withdrawn from NHK Trophy

Isabella Gamez / Aleksandr Korovin have now been assigned to NHK Trophy.



Unfortunately, the assignment came too late for them to get visas for Japan and they had to withdraw

Isabelle Martins and Ryan Bedard have now been added to the NHK Trophy lineup

Andrew Torgashev replaces Stephen Gogolev at NHK Trophy

Loena Hendrickx and Isabeau Levito have withdrawn from Finlandia Trophy



I expect replacements to be named fairly quickly...

The first replacement - Lara Naki Gutmann has been assigned to Finlandia Trophy


According to press reports, Hendrickx will return for the Golden Spin of Zagreb and wants to defend her Euro title in Tallinn.

Ahsun Yun has been assigned to Finlandia Trophy, filling the 2nd replacement spot

Anastasia Golubeva / Hektor Giotopoulos Moore, medallists at SCI, have withdrawn from Finlandia Trophy due to Golubeva suffering with poor health after falling ill with COVID.

Yixi Yang / Shunyang Deng have withdrawn from Cup of China


It is unlikely that this "host pick" will be filled by another team from China due to a lack of senior level pairs.

Isabella Gamez / Aleksandr Korovin have been assigned to Cup of China (and confirmed they are actually able to go this time!) [The parenthetical statement refers to their assignment to NHK Trophy which fell through due to the issue of needing a visa.]
