This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.
This event, a replacement for the Cup of China is this week's GP event. The entries, by discipline, can be found here: http://results.isu.org/events/fsevent00110990.htm You will see that for some competitors it will be a direct follow-up to their performances at Skate Canada International. For example, Sui & Han of China. They said in interviews in Vancouver that the rest of the Chinese team was already in Italy where they would be joining them for this weekend's competition, and then they would return to China.
On that page, there is also a link to the full time and practice schedule.
She was in China as an announcer at the Asian Open, the Olympics "test event", so she has a little personal knowledge of some of those who competed there.
Just before Skate Canada PJ & two friends (Charlene & Mazin), calling themselves "3Turn3" got together for a video chat for the first time in quite a while. They talked to a guest about the "bubble" impacts on the media in Vancouver. It's on her YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI287inaXOg
They are planning to get together again on Friday (Nov. 5th) @ 10 am. EDT on PJ's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channel.

On Friday and Saturday Torino will be 5 hours ahead of EDT as Europe "fell back" to Standard time already. Since our clocks changes at 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, the time difference will return to the "usual" 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time
Now that the event is over, here's the program for the Gala which took place this morning (our time), preceded by the medal ceremonies in all four disciplines.
