However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. The events that do go forward will be done under different rules and, in the case of the JGP, without skater assignements or points being awarded. These were among the decisions from the ISU Council held on July 6th:

The Japanese Federation announced today that it will not be sending any skaters to Junior Grand Prix or Challenger Series events in the upcoming season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes skaters who are based overseas for their training.
Participation in the GP and ISU Championships has not been announced yet.
