ISU World Synchros - news re: junior & senior championships

This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

================

One important update this week is that the Government has decided it is not currently necessary to stop large scale public gatherings or events taking place in the UK, so we’re pleased to confirm the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2020 will proceed as planned.

All competitors, officials, volunteers and staff travelling to the UK will receive a health questionnaire to complete and advice before they leave their respective countries to travel to the UK. When they arrive in the UK and before they pass through the venue’s accreditation process, follow up travel screening will take place in isolated areas. Be rest assured we have relevant measures in place and should any event participants show signs of illness, they will be sent for immediate medical attention and kept away from the venue.

We encourage all event participants attendees to take care of their health and the health of others by following the recommended guidelines as outlined by Public Health England.
