Daisuki Takahashi returning to amateur competition!

This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

Wow - this will be interesting to watch! I hope he doesn't end up struggling in the same way that Patrick Chan did. I prefer to remember skaters from their glory days, rather than watch them struggle to reach their previous level of skill. I wish him the best!

I read in one article that he plans to try competing for one year.

Wow!! :o Well, good for him, but I agree with what the rest of you are saying. He certainly has a huge fan support base. They must be going crazy!! :D I had sort of wondered what happened as he didn't announce his retirement.
