Request for Funding.

OK. I've received all the contributions for our board and Blacksun has told me the exact amount so I'll be cashingthe cheques today, (if I get to the n\bank on time), and mailing out the payment tomorrow. There should be no problem... (Famous last words! )

My Credit union is holding funds on the sheques for 12 working days. Apparently it takes that long to clear cheques written from outside the province of NS. That's what they told me. But it will still be in time to make a payment on the account and keep our board running. Many thinks to those who contributed. I like to have the board here too and I treasure your friendship.

The transaction has been completed. We are online for another year and the board will be active,... well, as active as you all want to make it.
Summer is a slow time for skating and if anyone has some off season public information, feel free to share.
This is a good time to go orr topic also, because the summer is so slow on skating news. People can tell us how their vacations went, especially if they've been travelling. (hint, hint!)
If you have photos, I can put them up on the web site and you can link to them from here so everybody can share them.
Enjhoy the summer. The weather here in NS is great for now, but I understand you've been having some heat in Central and Western parts of the country. I know one or more of you are Stateside and I hear the weather there hasn't been good in a few places. I hope everybody is doing well and coping.
