Hello people,
It's that time of year and I am told by the Web Site Hosting Service, Blacksun, that the site fees are due in 60 days. Those of you who donated last year have been vary much appreciated, and if we could do that again I'd really be grateful. Perhaps some other members would care to help out. They are really nice people, and I've had very good service from them. Please make it clear that this is for the <www.fredwilliams.ca> web site. I know there has to be some way of making sure that the donations don't go over the due amount. I could coordinate that or someone else could just to keep things on the up and up. We can discuss this, so feel free to reply.

Hi Fred, I am willing to chip in, but would need some know-how. Do the have a website where one can pay via Visa or Paypal, or should we send them a cheque?

Those who wish should send them a check. Paypal takes 1/3 of everything that goes through it. Never use them.

OK. New PLan! The cheques have to come to me, because Blacksun says it's confusing to have cheques coming from various sources for the same account. We tried it last year and they kept telling me that everything was alright, but when the day came the site went down and I had to call them to get it put back up and straighten out the payments. They did have them, but their computer billing system isn't designed to handle that sort of thing.
I'm going to try to put my address in a Private message or an email to everybody so that we can do this. Standby, and for now, don't send anything to Blacksun.

Hey folks - Fred needs about $150 to keep the board running for us all for another year. Last year six of us each kicked in $25 and that did the trick.

It appears that there are already three of us who have publicly offered support for another year - LouLou, Heini and myself. If there are three more members who are willing to pitch in, that will do the trick again

Fred has indicated in a PM that we should make the cheques out to him and that he will cash them and purchase a money order to send to the provider, since they don't want to be bothered with several cheques.

Fred gets to do all the "techy" stuff to keep the board running smoothly, it's nice that we can do our bit and show our appreciation in this way.

Count me in too Fred, just send me your address please. A friend, who contributed last year, will also contribute; so if it is alright with you I'll pass your address on to her? I'm still working on her to actually post on the board! She's a great fan of skating and often attends events.
