She is remembered for her rendition of "We'll Meet Again", raising the spirits of her country during World War Two and beyond.

She was an icon for sure and I remember her singing. It's amazing she lived for so long and her voice didn't change much if at all, even when she was older. She sure looked terrific at 103! That's a nice article.

Good Greif! I thought she died back before I was born. May God rest her soul.

I wonder how many others are still living out there I don't know about.
