Fred's, (Used to be Barb's), Board

The web site now has "https" protection. Strangely enough, I was one of the first people to support the system back even before it was introduced. I have always wanted that for my site, but I could never get it to work. (Like with Ticketmaster, it expects me to click on things that are nowhere on the page and I am blocked from going further). Now, I think my web site provider has done it for me and this is probably one of the last dotes to obtain it. Nevertheless, having it is better than not having it.

It still just shows www. for me, Fred. Shouldn't the https be in the address line?

OK, it is there for me. Do you have an old link? If you type it in and bokmark/favourite it, I expect it will be there. If not let me know.

Bitdefender lies. It's a safe site, but they seem to have effectively scared everyone away. I see no posts here but yours, and they are beautifully done, but is anyone reading them? I don't know. They might be.

Yup I read the messages most of the time. I don't get any notifications about an unsafe site with Google Chrome. I know if I changed my browser to Firefox I likely would based on past experiences. There is such a thing as taking "security" too far, which is why I moved away from Firefox quite some time ago.

Try clicking on this. https://fredwilliams.ca/skate/ It should take you to the board with the "https" prefix and no security warning. It works for me, and I want to know if it does or doesn't for you.
