NBC seems to be making an effort to increase their ratings for the Olympic figure skating - they had an item on the Today Show earlier today about judging of figure skating and will apparently be following up on the NBC Nightly News later.

With respect to the team event, there is a lot of strategy involved and I think most of the teams are keeping their plans "close to the vest" until the team leaders meeting before the event begins. I know that the Canadian team members met in Vancouver at the end of Canadians to discuss their strategy
Some things have leaked out - for example, the fact that Yuzuru Hanyu
won't be skating in the team event, preferring to put all his efforts into preparing for the singles event:
