However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. The entries now posted for this event include two new pair teams - Bombardier/Farand and Izzo/Ferland.
The first one is quite a surprise - Fiona Bombardier, like her mother Josee Chouinard, has been competing as a single skater. Now, it appears that, like her father Jean-Michel Bombardier, she has moved to Pairs. It had previously been announced that she had moved from the Richmond Training Centre to Oakville which is, of course, the location of Bruno Marcotte's training centre which has a focus on pairs. Fiona was the bronze medalist at Canadian Nationals earlier this year.
