According to a post from Skate Canada regarding media accreditation: https://skatecanada.ca/2021/08/media-ac ... rnational/

The 2021 Autumn Classic International will be held in person, but due to the pandemic and health regulations, without spectators or media on site. Skate Canada looks forward to hosting media in a virtual setting for this year’s event. The event will take place from September 16-18, 2021, in Pierrefonds, Que.

It has now been announced by the French federation that Papadakis & Cizeron will not make their season debut at the Autumn Classic but will make it at the "Masters de Patinage" in France. Many will be disappointed, I'm sure.

Due to a decision by the Japanese Skating Federation to not participate in, at least, the early season Challenger events, Satoko Miyahara will withdraw from the Autumn Classic.

This is reportedly due to the quarantine requirements once skaters return to Japan.

[They have also decided not to participate in any of the Junior Grand Prix events.]

The Pairs event has been upgraded to be part of the Challenger event with these entries:




Meanwhile, Donovan Carillo is reported to have withdrawn from the Men's event.

Interesting - CBC Sports online streaming is showing a schedule for the Autumn Classic! In the past a competition like this, organized by Skate Canada, would be broadcast by CTV.
