The entries list has been updated: https://www.schaatsen.nl/media/43496/en ... cc2020.pdf
It is, I believe, the very last opportunity for skaters to achieve the required technical minimums to compete at Worlds 2020.
The list now includes two CDN ladies in the senior category - Bausback & Schizas. It would appear that the decision about our 2 ladies for Worlds will not be made quite yet.

In fact, part of the announcement was made - Alicia Pineault will go to Worlds but the second team member will be announced on Feb. 23rd, i.e. after the conclusion of the Challenge Cup.

Re: Challenge Cup - Feb 20-23, The Hague, NED
It appears that Emily Bausback might be going to Worlds - she needed a minimum short program TES of 30 to meet the qualifications and today (so far unofficially) she got 31.5
Madeline Schizas is also competing here - she needs both senior minimum TES scores but also needs senior scores looking toward next year.
As previously reported, Skate Canada will be making the announcement of the final spot tomorrow.

Re: Challenge Cup - Feb 20-23, The Hague, NED
Skate Canada has a big decision to make today regarding the Worlds spot - Madeline easily got the required minimum TES scores in both SP and FS; she beat Emily in both (soundly in the FS); and she moved up to win a bronze medal!! All of this in her first international senior outing. Will they choose her over Emily, who now also has the TES minimums but at a lower level, and is the national champion?
In fact, Madeline now has the highest total international score of any Canadian lady this season (with the usual caveats about comparing scores and especially re: ISU championship vs B event scores).
