Some of us remember Babalonia & Gardner from their competitive days, especially their heartbreaking withdrawal at the 1980 Olympics. It seems hard to believe that they are entering their 50th year together! Of course, they started skating together at the ages of 8 and 10 respectively

Nice comments by both of them and I agree with their comments that Oleg and Ludmilla were the world to each other. Such dignity and flawless skating is hard to imagine nowadays.
