Comment from Bev Smith (via Twitter) on Javi's quad sal being called UR:
(She was watching the live stream.)Watching the event live, judges gave Javi Fernandez GOE of 3.40 for his quad Salchow. His UR mark was 7.28, Full marks would have been 13.10. SP mark would have been 97.66, about what Orser expected in K/C. Now he is a quad Salchow away from first, instead of 2.84 pts.

Pairs news (via Jackie Wong on Twitter):
Start order for the pairs FS: http://www.isuresults.com/results/seaso ... SEG006.HTMZiegler/Kiefer have been mourning the death of their coach, Jean François Ballester. That was why they were so emotional after the SP. They decided to withdraw from the FS to have more time to heal before Worlds, felt it was too soon for them to compete.
