Has anyone else been following this? I know Fred is too but he's been busy. I've found it really riveting. Praying that the rest get out safely tonight.

Here's an article that tells about the individual boys & assistant coach. However the birthday boy is 16, pretty sure.

All 12 boys & their coach are out now http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/thai-cave- ... -1.4740318

What a wonderful outcome. Marvelous skills & planning shown in this. They didn't loose any of them. They are still not with their families, because the doctors seem to be worried about a disease. The boys seem healthy.

Definitely a wonderful outcome - one I could hardly dare hope for.

The doctors have the boys isolated as they are concerned about disease in a couple of senses - one is whatever they might have been exposed to in the murky waters; more importantly, their immune systems may be diminished/damaged and they could easily catch things from their family members. They need to make sure the boys are as healthy as possible to avoid these risks.

This is Dr Richard Harris. The Australian anesthesiologist, aeromedical consultant, cave diving expert with over 30 years experience. Responsible for co-ordinating the Thai Cave Rescue operation. He is definitely a hero!

I was following this very closely. It was addicting and I'm so glad that there was a such a positive outcome. I'm sure more details will come out over time. Already Pure-Flix is trying to get the movie rights. I do hope Richard Harris is awarded Australian of the Year. He sure deserves it. It's so sad his father passed away. Also, for the retired Navy Seal who passed away, reportedly from lack of oxygen. He was so experienced, that it makes me wonder if there was another medical issue involved as well. One never knows in such high stress situations. I knew someone who had an aorta rupture. Things happen. However it did highlight the difficulties of the mission and perhaps saved some of the boys' lives. They were brave to take out the weakest boys first. I did wonder when they said the second group was stronger than the first. Richard Harris was brilliant in this, no doubt. I'm missing the coverage and now we are subjected to wall to wall U.S. Politics! :?

Here is the press conference with the boys from this morning. It's an hour long, so it's a bit of a time commitment but worth it. To see the whole thing you need to go to the extended version part one and then the next parts will play automatically.
