With the results of the World Championships, Russia leads the six ISU Members that have qualified for the ISU World Team Trophy in Figure Skating in Fukuoka [Fu-koo-oh-ka] (JPN), April 11 to 14. The ISU World Team Trophy is a biennal event.

Russia tops the standings with 9038 points followed by the USA (7752 points) and Japan with 6991 points. The other qualified ISU members are France (5541 points), Italy (4344 points) and Canada (4217 points).

Each team will be composed of two Men, two Ladies, one Pair Skating couple and one Ice Dance couple, i.e. a total of eight skaters per team. The names of the entries must be submitted to the ISU by March 28th.
The team event consists of two phases of competition, the Short Program/Short Dance and the Free Skating/Free Dance. Teams are awarded 12 to 1 team points (12 points for first place, 1 point for 12th place) for Men and Ladies and respectively 12 to 7 points for Pairs and Ice Dance couples in the Short Program/Rhythm Dance and in the Free Skating/Free Dance. The standings are calculated according to the sum of the team points achieved in each phase of the event. Several tie breakers are in place.

Thanks for all the info. I'll try to catch the TV coverage. Canada has a pretty good team even though it's not as dazzling as before all the retirements.

CBC's current schedule only shows the live stream for the free programs - it used to include the short programs as well. I sent them a query but got no answer.

If the CBC does not show the live stream tonight, it appears that you should be able to watch directly from the ISU: https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/figure-skating/
It says that it won't be available in USA, Russia or Japan.

Since they have video available of junior events on that site, I am guessing that the live stream will be saved as a video but I can't be sure.

Jackie Wong's preview of the WTT describes the scoring: https://t.co/vMLgQTlyp4

All times are 13 hours ahead of EDT.

There was an unfortunate collision during the warm-up for the ladies free skate - https://twitter.com/i/status/1116975325647212544

Gabby Daleman was skating backwards and collided with Laurine LeCavalier. Gabby was obviously in pain afterward and was not in top form when her turn to skate came. She posted some photos via Twitter of bruising on her leg, chest and face but was well enough to be one of the two Canadian skaters invited to perform in the exhibition gala (along with Keegan Messing).
