Wow - it would be fun to go and see this so close to home! I wish I knew what my schedule would be like this far in advance.....

I'd love to go, but unfortunately as I'm planning to go to Worlds in Montreal, the same year, it won't be financially feasible for me.

It's not likely to sell out Kevin - you might be able to get tickets closer to the date when you know your schedule.

I got information from Uni-world too, but unfortunately I won't be able to make this one! Hopefully I'll go to Canadians in 2021.

As noted in the Youth Olympics thread, several junior skaters are not listed in the start orders for Canadians and it is expected that they will be announced as our team to compete overseas.

Also not in the start orders, in senior dance, are Fournier-Beaudry & Sorensen. Apparently, according to his Instagram posts, Nikolaj is recovering from recent knee surgery.

I can't make it, not having anyone to look after the cats, and the trip would be expensive. I'm saving up for some treats for myself, a professional quality turntable for my records, parts for a Stratocaster homebuilt guitar, and so on. Music and the like are very relevant to my current lifestyle. As nice as it would be to see those in attendance, and the fond memories I have of Montreal, where I grew up, I can't see being there for that. I wish everyone a great time.

As a result, the starting order for senior men has been updated with the addition of Philipp Mulé-Mirochnitchenko who was 17th at Challenge: https://lamp.skatecanada.ca/results/202 ... SP1SO.html

Also, Dominic Rondeau, 16th at Challenge, has been added to the Senior Men SP starting order, replacing Ilya Kovler who is no longer listed as of today.

An update from his Instragram as to why Nikolaj Sorensen and Laurence Fournier-Beaudry will not be competing at Canadians:
Injury has been this seasons subject for me, that started with my knee giving me trouble all the way back in may. I was able to keep it at bay until the grand prix season was over. But with the amount of pain during our 2nd grand prix i knew it had to be addressed. .
I had surgery on the 16th, a cartilage graft and a meniscotomy. Recovery is going really well, and hopefully i'll be back on the ice where i belong soon!! .
Thank you so much everybody for all the support and kind messages during this time of recovery
I understand that he is now off crutches so that is progress.

Just retweeted by Gabby's mother on Twitter - originally posted by "Edges of Glory":
Only a few days before #CTNats20, #GabrielleDaleman says she has contracted pneumonia - which she also had at the pre-Olympic 2018 Canadian Nationals, when she won her second senior national title. Hoping you feel better soon @gabby_daleman !

Clicking on the "Results" above each of the start orders will take you to the live score page, for example, here is the Novice Pattern Dance 1: https://lamp.skatecanada.ca/results/202 ... nceCR.html
You need to refresh to get updated information - it does not automatically update as that for the ISU site.

Ted Barton has been joined by Liz Manley for the Novice Men & Novice Women SPs.

Josee will be joining him for the juniors, I believe. (Her daughter skated in the novice event.)

Hi Folks:
I've been trying to view the live streaming from Mississauga but not having much luck.
I click on the link, just above Ted Barton's photo. A screen pops up with a square that turns to an arrow when I click on it.
There is a little red box at the top of this square that says LIVE.....nothing happens when I click on that.
However, NOTHING happens after that. I've not seen any of the skating yet. …..even tho' I've update my Internet in order
to watch this part of the competition.
Any suggestions as to why I'm not seeing a picture?
Carol

Carol - I have been watching all day here: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7q5hi6

Are you on a computer or on an I-pad (or similar)? I'm on a laptop. I've heard that sometimes there are issues with non-computer "devices".
