The website for the "French Flying Club": http://patinage.francais-volants.org/ac ... /voir/106/Fabian Bourzat returned to France after the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and is now set to create an elite ice dance hub in the heart of Paris.
The home for the new school will be the Sonja Henie ice rink at the Accorhotels Arena in Bercy. Starting in September, Bourzat will coach skaters of the French Flying Club in the morning and those of the Pole France in the afternoon.
His former partner, Nathalie Péchalat, is a member of the club's management committee.
The French duo have been on different paths since retiring in 2014. Péchalat married and has a child. Bourzat worked alongside their former coach, Igor Shpilband, in Novi, Michigan, for four years.
"The creation of a high-level Ice Dance Training Center in Bercy is the return event for the French Flying Club in Paris and beyond for all French skating. A new adventure to follow on our site and on our social networks from the beginning of the school year .... "
