Here are the events on the schedule:
  • August 22-25, 2018 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (including Pair Skating)
  • August 29-September 1, 2018 Linz, Austria (including Pair Skating)
  • September 5-8, 2018 Kaunas, Lithuania (1st time in Lithuania)
  • September 19-22, 2018 Harbin, China (including Pair Skating)
  • September 26-29, 2018 Ostrava, Czech Republic (including Pair Skating)
  • October 3-6, 2018 Ljubljana, Slovenia
  • October 10-13, 2018 Yerevan, Armenia (1st time in Armenia)
The Junior Grand Prix final will be held in conjunction with the senior event in Vancouver, BC, 6-9 December 2019.

In addition to determining the number of spots for next season's Junior World Championships, the results of the event in Sofia, Bulgaria also determine the number of spots for the seven Junior Grand Prix for next season.

The top 3 countries in each discipline at Junior Worlds earn 2 spots in each GP event, the next 3 countries get 1 spot in each GP event. This is over and above the "host spot", as I understand it. This means that Canada will have 2 men in each of the 2018-19 events, based on today's finish by Joseph Phan; 2 ice dance couples in each of the events, based on yesterday's ice dance finish by Lajoie & Lagha; and 1 pair in each of the events, based on Thursday's finish by Walsh & Michaud. I believe that we will have 1 ladies entry at 5 of the 7 JGPs next season since Aurora Cotop made the FS at Jr. Worlds.
